The Student Board consists of student representatives from all departments of the Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering (IME). The Student Board responds to hearings addressed by the Faculty, the Student Board of Master of Science Education and the Student Parliament (Studenttinget).
The student representatives pursue the interests of students towards the administration and student representative bodies in issues that are important for students at the IME Faculty. The Student Board is committed to have its resolutions passed at open meetings for students (Allmøte).
The Department Board has student members who also represent students in the Department on the Student Board and Programme of Study Board. The representatives are responsible of following up the class representatives.
The Faculty Board has student members who also represent students in the Faculty on the Student Board, Group Management, the Study Committee and the employment committee for scientific positions.
The Faculty representatives work closely with head of the Student Parliament (Studenttinget) and the student representatives on the NTNU Board.
